Charitable Giving for 2021

Now that 2021 has come to a close, we're happy to share the charitable giving you've made possible with your purchases!

This year, we had all of our monarch themed art and product purchases benefit Monarch Joint Venture. Thanks to your purchases, we donated $310 to support the joint venture's efforts at protecting monarch butterflies and their habitat.

We also run a shop at the print-on-demand website Redbubble called The Snake Shop. All proceeds from this site are split between two awesome organizations who help to educate people on how to live with wildlife: The Alongside Wildlife Foundation and Advocates for Snake Preservation. For 2021, we were able to send these organizations $150.

We're also happy to be able to contribute to land conservation causes close to home by donating $125 to Sycamore Land Trust. We're huge fans of the work they do to conserve habitat and to educate Hoosiers about the important critters and land features in Southern Indiana.

And we can't end the year without donating to a cause that we hold near and dear to our hearts, native plants. We were able to donate $100 to the Indiana Native Plant Society this year. We appreciate their efforts to increase the biodiversity in our home state.

Additionally, we donated artwork and other products to fundraisers for the following organizations:

You have made these donations possible and we are grateful for your continued support of our art, our family, and our mission to give back to organizations that protect wildlife and build habitat! We are so inspired by the people we are able to meet through running Blue Aster Studio who continue to tirelessly work to make the world a better place. We're looking forward to finding even more ways to contribute to these causes in 2022!
