We created this screen print to represent those fun, surprise meetings with monarch caterpillars in the garden. We are always delighted when we stumble upon these chubby little caterpillars chomping away on our milkweed. Here we have one that is taking advantage of a first instar hole in the milkweed leaf and peeking through. We love hosting monarchs in our pollinator gardens and use our interactions with the many critters who call our garden home as inspiration for our screen prints.
